A county man has been remanded following his appearance in Provincial Court today (September 8).
On September 7, Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit arrested 47-year-old Lawrence James Murray in New Glasgow on several drug-related offences along with multiple counts of failing to comply with a court order. Additionally, Murray was charged with failing to appear in court, associated to weapons-related offences in 2015.
As a result of this investigation, police have seized a quantity of methamphetamine and cannabis marijuana.
Murray, from French River, has been remanded into custody and will reappear in court at a later date.
