Lots in store this fall at the deCoste

PICTOU—The deCoste Centre Performing Arts Centre has a fall schedule that is filled to the brim!

The season kicked off on September 21 with Marty Haggard ‘Songs of My Father’ featuring the music of Merle Haggard.  Coronation Street actors ‘Beth & Sinead—were on stage September 27 and Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy perform a sold out show on Thursday.

Everything Fitz, the dynamic family band from the Ottawa Valley, return to the deCoste on  October 3 followed by the legendary and iconic The Nylons on October 11.  With more than 40 years in the music business, The Strawbs know how to deliver a great show; they are at the deCoste on  October 14.  A night of comedy featuring The Comic Strippers is set for October 20 followed by the magical performance Clockwork Mysteries on October 24 featuring Ted Outerbridge. CBC’s Gavin Crawford brings his show “FRIEND” “LIKE” #ME to the deCoste stage on October 28 and the month finishes with ABBAmania on October 30.

Canada’s favourite country singer Carroll Baker makes a much anticipated return to the deCoste on November 1 followed by tribute show Four by Four on November 3.  John McDermott is at the deCoste on November 5 and Danny Michel and The Fortunate Ones will be on stage November 9.

Night of the Three J’s will be presented as part of Member’s Night on November 17, the comedy of Ron James on November 20 and the country sounds of George Canyon on November 23 finish the month.
Christmas shows take over December and feature the seasonal sounds of Coig on the 3rd, Tis the Season 10 with Bette MacDonald and Maynard Morrison on the 8th and 9th, A Celtic Christmas on December 11 and the Barra MacNeil’s East Coast Christmas on December 14.  Home for Christmas, a holiday Jazz show, is on stage December  20 featuring the Woodhouse Band and Dave Gunning concludes the season with his highly anticipated show on December 21.
