NEW GLASGOW – Pictou County Pop Classics wants the crowd to join the show.
The cast and crew are inviting ticket holders to dress the part in their favorite 70s outfits to help celebrate the era being paid tribute to by the Pictou County Pop Classics! There will be a photo booth for people to get their pictures taken in costume and a panel of judges to pick a prize winner for each night. There are two prizes to be awarded to the best dressed 70s rock and roller! There will be a cash prize of $100 and a Yamaha guitar generously donated by H &R Music for the other prize. The winner on Friday evening will be given the opportunity to choice which prize they would like and the second prize will be presented to the best costume on Saturday evening.
So be creative! Find your hot pants, shine up your rhinestones, dig out your bell bottoms, uncover your tie dye patterns, Disco suits, Chuck Taylors, glitter and come out ready for an amazing night of music, fun, and memories!
“This is a fun way for us to give back to Pictou County for the amazing support the show has received,” says Pictou County Pop Classics 70s Tribute producer Michael Vienneau.
It will be 70s glamour both on and off the stage as organizers of the upcoming Pictou County Pop Classics 70s Tribute to be staged October 21 and 22 at Glasgow Square Theatre are inviting ticket holders to dress in 70s glam and have a chance to win a prize at each of the performances.
