TRENTON – The Pictou County Scotians are preparing for two games this weekend against the Jr. Miners from Cape Breton in Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League action.
The teams will meet on Saturday in Membertou before the Scotians host a game starting at 7 p.m. on Sunday in Trenton.

The Elks clinched the win with a goal with five seconds left in the third period.
The Scotians also outshot the host Sackville Blazers 39-37 on Monday but were defeated 5-2.
The Blazers scored twice in each of the first two periods before Colin Holmes and Ryan Dunfield answered for the Scotians early in the third period.
