Atom AA Crushers win division

It was a showdown for the ages Tuesday evening at the Pictou County Wellness Centre where the Pictou County Red Crushers edged the White Crushers 4-3 to win the Northern Division of the Mainland Atom AA Hockey League.
The Red Crushers will face the South Division winner at the Mainland League Day of Champions on March 24 and 25.

Lane Sim scored twice for the Crushers, while Cade Moser added a goal and three assists.

Owen Conrad also scored. Single assists went to Sim, Levon Walst, Ben Manos and Cole Miller.

The team travels to Cumberland County this weekend for the North Nova Scotia Minor Hockey League Atom AA tournament.

Moser and Walst scored as the Red Crushers grabbed their fourth consecutive league playoff win Sunday afternoon at the Colchester Legion Stadium when they came out with a 2-1 win over the Truro Bearcats.

Assists went to Sim and Manos.

Alex Palmer was solid between the pipes for the Crushers.

Sim scored twice as the Red Crushers defeated Cumberland 6-3 on February 21 for their third win.

Single goals went to Landon Steele, Moser, Mac Wallace and Keagan Dalton.

Palmer got the shutout as the Crushers earlier travelled to Brookfield and came out with a dominant 5-0 win.

Wallace scored two goals for the Crushers while single goals went to Dalton, Manos and Moser. Assists went to Walst and Sim.
