CAMERON, Lincoln Cedric B. — 97, of Autumn Crest Seniors, New Glasgow, passed away July 25, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late John George and Jessie Rose (MacNaughton) Cameron of Chance Harbour. Lincoln was an employee of Cresent Jewelers of New Glasgow, Pictou and Truro, and for 40 years and prior to his retirement he was on staff of Charm Jewelers in New Glasgow. He had been a member of the 2nd Battalion Pictou Highlanders Signal Corp. Headquarters Company. He was also a former director of Clan Cameron of Nova Scotia. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are grandnephew Fred (Beverly) Cameron, great-grandnephew Calin Cameron and great-grandniece Lesley Ann Cameron; grandniece Monica (Douglas) King. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers George and Donald Frederick, nephew Donald Alonzo. Memorial service was held July 31 from H.W. Angus Funeral Home. Family burial will be in Chance Harbour Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Lincoln may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
