Stellarton child luring incident solved

Sept.8.2017-UPDATE: The Stellarton Police Service wishes to announce that a person of interest has come forward and there is no risk to the public. Police are continuing to investigate this incident and would like to thank the public for their attention in this matter.

On Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 The Stellarton Police Service received a complaint that an older male had tried to lure two children to his vehicle within the Town. The man was observed driving a silver Toyota with a black rear bumper. He was wearing a hot, had grey hair and a black beard. He also had a bandage wrap on his left wrist. The children involved fled the scene and were not harmed. Anyone with information on this matter is asked to contact The Stellarton Police Service at (902) 752-6160.
