On Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, at approximately 2:30 PM, the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the New Glasgow Regional Police, executed a search warrant at a residence on Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
As a result, police seized a quantity of cocaine, oxycodone, amphetamine, and cannabis marihuana. Subsequently, police have arrested one 32 year-old male and one 25 year-old female, both from New Glasgow. The male and female have each been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Both the male and female have been released from police custody and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
