SALTSPRINGS – Pictou County RCMP officers attended the scene of a single-vehicle crash that occurred Monday night.
At approximately 8 p.m., Pictou County RCMP officers were called to a single -vehicle crash on Highway 104 in Salt Springs. The crash involved a vehicle that was travelling eastbound on the 104 and lost control and left the roadway between Exits 18 and 19. The lone driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and later transported via EHS LifeFlight for further treatment.
EHS and West River Fire Department responded. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal diverted eastbound traffic on the 104 highway at exit 18. This diversion was in place until about 11 a.m. today while the investigation continued.
