Back by popular demand, International World Champion Thane Dunn and his Cadillac Kings are returning to the deCoste Performing Arts Centre on June 9t with an amazing new show that Elvis Presley and country music fans are going to love.

Elvis Rock and Country features not only Elvis’ iconic rock songs, from Blue Suede Shoes to Suspicious Minds, but because Elvis’s brought a certain style to his country songs, Dunn will be adding several of Presley’s country hits like  Always on My Mind, Kentucky Rain and many more.

There is a very special opening act, The Rhinestone Cowgirl, with her salute to the ‘Queens of Country Music’ – Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline. She has an amazing vocal range and the looks of a movie star with incredible replica costumes of a time long gone bye.

Thane Dunn has been called the full Elvis package, delivering not only the look, voice, moves and mannerisms, but he also has that magnetic personality and off-the-wall boyish charm exuded by Presley that makes you a believer. His show is endorsed by several people who worked and performed with Presley in the 70s and Dunn will be wearing an exact replica of Elvis’ favorite stage suit called the ‘Embroidered Peacock’. No expense has been sparred to deliver Las Vegas quality entertainment.

“Things have been very busy since our last show at the deCoste.  We’ve been performing with Bill Baize of Elvis’ original Stamps Quartet and he is actually my vocal coach,” said Dunn.

“We are doing this show because not only do I love Elvis but have always loved classic country, that sadly, rarely gets radio play anymore. People want to hear it.  All our previous shows have been a hit, but I expect this one is going to take the roof off.”
