ENFIELD — Pictou County’s Joey Livingstone, driver of the 01, took a heat race win on Canadian National Autism Foundation’s night on August 3 during CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series action in the Sportsman class at Scotia Speedworld.
Livingstone was now preparing for the Sportsman 100 feature on Friday as part of CAT 250 weekend at the track near Enfield.
The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour returns on Saturday at 5 p.m. for the 19th edition of the Toromont Cat 250 at Scotia Speedworld.
The feature follows the Lucas Oil 150 won by Cole Butcher of Enfield last Saturday at Oyster Bed Bridge, P.E.I. It was the fourth win of the season for Butcher.
Dylan Gosbee of Cornwall, P.E.I., Kent Vincent of Crapaud, P.E.I., Robbie MacEwan of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Greg Proude of Springvale, P.E.I. rounded out the top five.
Rollie MacDonald’s King Freightlines entry from Pictou was not at last weekend’s event but is expected to be at the CAT250 this weekend.
George Koszkulics of Little Harbour has not raced since an injury earlier in the season.
