Kudos to local police forces which help in “Circle of Care”

Opinion

To the Editor:

Thank you!

We are writing to the editor as senior leadership at the Aberdeen Hospital. This letter is written to acknowledge the work done by Pictou County’s police forces and the RCMP as they assist the hospital in its mission of care.

In recent months, there have been a few occasions where the New Glasgow Police Services in particular has stepped up when requested and provided much needed timely and professional help. In their role as part of the “Circle of Care” assisting frequently in the management of the hospital’s Emergency Department patients, they have been most accommodating.

On behalf of all our hospital staff and physicians, we would like to say a most deserved and very appropriate “thank you” to all the officers who have played a role in caring for our patients and providing security for our Emergency Department clinic and administrative staff.

Kudos to all.
