Saltscapes Joins Metro Guide Publishing creating the East Coast’s Foremost Magazine and Experience company.

A deal announced today will combine two of the region’s largest Magazine Publishing and content companies to create one diversified, information, media and events company. The Saltscapes team will join Advocate’s Metro Guide Publishing team without any anticipated job reductions.


Today’s media landscape is complex, the strengths of these two prominent media and communication companies will create an organization that is well positioned for diverse market engagement and future success.  With the addition of Saltscapes, Metro Guide and Advocate will boast industry leading expertise in lifestyle, tourism, homes, arts and culture, entertainment, transportation, health, contract publishing, e-publishing, community journalism and events.  The near term focus will be on sharing combined strengths with a focus on growth.
