STELLARTON – Soccer registration in the Highland Football Club’s fall and winter schedules for boys and girls ages 11-16 is winding up.

Players can register at highlandsoccer.ca  but can also refer to the club’s Facebook page (HFC Soccer) for more details.

Those interested can also access admin@highlandsoccer.ca with any questions about the club or its programs.

Besides the umbrella Highland club, other clubs include the Antigonish Celtics, CC Riders from Truro, Fundy Youth Soccer Club of Amherst, Northern Nova United Soccer Club in Pictou County and the Strait United Soccer Club based in Port Hawkesbury.

Indoor soccer will begin in earnest in November at the William Sobey Complex in Stellarton with games on Sundays and Mondays and Northern Nova United games on Mondays in December. Nova Scotia Soccer League games will resume in January.

Senior women’s games will begin on November 11 and follow on successive Sundays with hour-long games at 6 and 7 p.m.
