NEW GLASGOW – New Glasgow Regional Police have arrested and charged an 18-year-old with two counts of break and enter and two counts of voyeurism.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 31, police arrested and charged the New Glasgow man following incidents that took place within the New Glasgow area.
Police received the complaint that on Jan. 29 at approximately 5 a.m. a lone male entered a residence and shortly thereafter entered another residence; the accused immediately fled the area in both cases.
Preliminary investigation has determined that this was not a random act.
The suspect remains in custody and will be appearing in Provincial Court in Pictou on a bail hearing on Feb. 4.
The investigation involves two female victims who were not injured in each of the separate residences.
