Trenton Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Monday.
Trenton Fire Department, New Glasgow Regional Police and Emergency Health Services with the assistance of Westville Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Main Street Trenton at approximately 9:45 a.m.
Main Street Trenton was closed to traffic for several hours.
The house was vacant at the time of the fire and was extensively damaged.
No one was injured in fighting the fire, and the building is now demolished.
Trenton Fire Department and New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
