HOPEWELL — A variety of events that attracted large crowds in the past will return on August 11 with the annual Hopewell Ceilidh and parade.
The Pictou County ATV Club is hosting the parade, starting at 12:45 p.m. at Station Road before proceeding to the Hopewell Ceilidh Field.
Those participating in the parade should be at Station Road by 12:15 p.m. for line up. Those interested can contact Trevor at 902-923-2580 or email@example.com to register.
Once at the Ceilidh Field, the home of the Heritage Footbridge, visitors will be able to enjoy live local entertainment from 2 to 6 p.m., with food vendors offering, the annual turkey/potato salad dinners, homemade pies, ice cream, hamburgers, hotdogs, pop/water and much more.
Admission is free at the Ceilidh Field, although donations are accepted.
Dogs must be on a leash at owner’s responsibility.
