Rug hooker exhibition

The Wallace and Area Museum is pleased to present the annual Remsheg Rug Hookers’ Exhibition. You will be amazed by the expertise and creativity of the rugs your friends and neighbours have hooked this past year! Most rugs are original designs, and many are hooked with hand-dyed, hand-cut wool. Each rug tells a story unique to the artisan. Join us as we celebrate the Remsheg Rug Hookers at the museum

Farm to table

The Tatamagouche Centre will be hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner to raise money for local scholarship and bursary funds. All profits raised from this event will go towards individuals within the community who would like to participate in our programs, but do not have the means to do so. The menu will include: a gathered-greens salad with maple balsamic vinaigrette, smoked pork chop with roasted carrots, roasted baby potatoes with bacon and butter, and fair-trade chocolate mousse served with strawberries.
