Community centre meeting

World Day of Prayer

March 3 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

World Day of Prayer  will be held this year at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow. The theme of the service is “Come, Everything is Ready” and is an ecumenical service written by Christian Women in Slovenia.   The event is organized by seven of the New Glasgow churches and the guest speaker will be the Rev. Donna Tourneur, minister of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow. Everyone is welcome.

Alpha program

March 4 - May 6

The Pictou Deanery Churches will be hosting an Alpha program beginning March 4, 6:30-8pm and will continue for 10 weeks.  Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.  There's no pressure, no follow-up and no charge; it's just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life's big questions together.  Each session includes a meal, a short film and discussion about life, faith and God.  All are welcome regardless of…
