DEAN, Theodore Jason “Ted” – 42, Barney’s River Station, passed away tragically on August 21, 2016 at home, as the result of a house fire. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Susan (Dean) Ward, MacPherson’s Mills and the late James Angevine. Ted was a self-employed carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music, Harley Davidsons and socializing with his friends. Ted’s girls and family were his life.  Surviving are his soulmate, Vicki Hecimovich; daughters, Phebe (12) and Felicity (4); sister, Charlene (Ross) Lees, Egerton; brother, Shawn “Skip” (Lorie) Angevine, Bridgeville; nieces and nephews, James, Paige, Samuel, Hope and Faith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Oakley and Mamie Dean; paternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Angevine; several uncles, aunts, cousins; several friends. Funeral service was held August 26 in the chapel of P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Interment in MacPherson’s Mills Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to his family.
