DWYER, William Alvin – 91, of River John, died November 12, 2016 in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born at Cape John, April 19, 1925, he was a son of the late George and Florence (Robison) Dwyer. In his working years he was an employee of Maritime Packers, National Sea and H. Trenholme Fish. Bill was a member of Helping Hand I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 34, and a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife, Mattie (Roberts); son, Robert (Debbie Warner), River John; daughters, Marie (H. Wayne) Langille, River John; Evelyn (Donald) Brown, Stellarton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother, Art and sister, Muriel; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters and seven brothers. Funeral was held Novem-ber 15 from the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, River John. Burial will be in the Hamilton Cemetery.
