NEW GLASGOW – It took just seven minutes for the May 26 Pictou County Pop Classic show to sell out.

Just hours after offering tickets for the premiere of its all-new 1960s tribute show, Pictou County Pop Classics announced that a second date has been added in response to demand. Tickets for the May 27 show at Glasgow Square will go on sale on Tuesday, March 21 at 10 a.m.

“Thank you, Pictou County for supporting your own local artists,” says Mike Vienneau, creative director of Pictou County Pop Classics.

“Thank you to the talented cast for believing in the idea and working so hard to develop a program that audiences are responding to. Thank you, Carlton Munroe and Glasgow Square for opening the door and giving us a chance.”

Tickets will be available at Glasgow Square, H&R Music and through Ticketpro.ca, or by calling 1-888-311-9090. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to an individual, family or organization in the community in need of assistance. The May 27 show at Glasgow Square is an all-ages, non-licensed event.
