Enough drugs were seized from a New Glasgow residence to charge a man with trafficking.
On Sunday, Jan. 7 at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the New Glasgow Regional Police, seized a quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine on Stewart Street.
Subsequently, police arrested a 56 year-old male from MacPherson’s Mills.
The accused has been charged with possession of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. He has been released from police custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
