New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating a two motor vehicle collision that occurred Monday.
At approximately 4 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police, along with the New Glasgow Fire Department and Emergency Health Services responded to the collision near the intersection of George Street and Archimedes Street.
The crash involved a 62-year-old female driving a 2006 Buick car and a 2002 Volkswagen car driven by a 38-year-old female.
Neither driver was injured. Both vehicles suffered substantial damage and had to be towed from the scene.
One traffic light was also damaged.
Archimedes Street was closed for approximately 90 minutes.
Police are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
