PUGWASH RIVER – A man suffered minor injuries after he was assaulted with a stun gun.

At 4:56 p.m. on April 29, a man arrived at a cottage on Pugwash River Road and was met outside by one of the occupants of the cottage. A verbal confrontation ensued, which turned into  a physical confrontation. The man produced a stun-gun like weapon and held it to the victim’s neck, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim got up and chased the suspect, who fled the area in a darker-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck with a white cap.

The victim suffered minor injuries, and no one else was hurt. There were two other people in the cottage at the time.

Initial investigation has determined that this was not a random act. The suspect is described as a white male with short dark brown hair, in his mid-30s, approximately 6-foot tall with a slim build. He was wearing a large dark coloured sweater.
