2018 Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses set for Moncton, NB

Jehovah’s Witnesses from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia will gather at the Moncton Coliseum from June 22-24 for the 2018 Annual Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

With 2,500 delegates expected to attend, this convention will be one of hundreds to be held worldwide in 180 lands throughout the next few months. The theme of this year’s event, “Be Courageous!”, relates to people of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances. It will focus on how all can employ Bible-based counsel to face the anxieties and pressures of daily living and maintain a positive view of the future.

Following are the location, and program times for each day:

Friday, June 22, 9:20 a.m. to 4:55 p.m.

Saturday, June 23, 2018 9:20 a.m. to 4:55 p.m.

Sunday, June 24, 2018 9:20 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.

The three-day convention program will feature 54 presentations, with highlights such as: BAPTISM – A baptism talk from 11:45-12:15 a.m. Saturday, followed by an on-site baptism. PUBLIC BIBLE DISCOURSE from 11:20 – 11:50 a.m. Sunday entitled, “The ResurrectionHope Imparts Courage — How?” FEATURE FILM from 1:50 – 2:40 p.m. Sunday entitled “The Story of Jonah—A Lesson inCourage and Mercy”.  TALKS, AUDIO DRAMAS, INTERVIEWS, AND SHORT VIDEOS provide a varied,instructive, and motivating program to assist individuals and families to gain the greatest benefit.

There are no admittance fees or collections taken.
