Police seek assistance with robbery investigation

NEW GLASGOW – New Glasgow Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a robbery.

Early today, at approximately 1:46 a.m., New Glasgow Regional Police were called to the scene of a robbery at the Comfort Inn located at 740 Westville Road in New Glasgow. Staff reported that a man had entered the hotel lobby through the front door, approached the front desk, produced a knife and demanded cash.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’5” to 5’9” in height with a small build. He was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark sunglasses.
