Stellarton Police arrested a 36-year-old man in relation to an armed robbery that took place at approx. 7:51 p.m. August 30 at the Medical hall Pharmasave on Foord Street.
At the time, a lone male entered the store and produced a firearm. He demanded drugs. The clerk complied with the request and the suspect left the store with a small amount of drugs.
The accused was remanded in custody and will appear in court today. He has been charged with the following criminal offences.
(2) Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public
(3) Using a firearm during the commission of an offence
(4) Carrying a concealed weapon
