PICTOU — Following the debut of Pictou County Pop Classics new “Quad Tribute” show held at the deCoste Performing Arts Centre as part of the DEANS fundraiser this fall, many have asked for it again — either for a second viewing or because they missed it. It had been their 11th show, all of which have been sell outs.
Pictou County Pop Classics cast and crew, spearheaded by creative director and producer Mike Vienneau, enjoyed the building and performing of this show and are they are excited to do it all again. The next show will be on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the deCoste Performing Arts Centre.
The show tributes four favourite artists from the “Golden Age of Vinyl” including Neil Young, The Eagles, The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac.
“We’ve worked hard to capture all the details from the best songs of these great artists,” says Vienneau.
The show channels audience members back in time to relive those classic pop tunes giving them a nostalgic “blast to the past” when they hear and see the songs performed by the talented local Pictou County cover artists.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Dec. 17 at noon. They can be purchased by contacting the deCoste Centre box office.
