Pictou County Solid Waste, in conjunction with the Pictou County District RCMP, will be conducting litter checkpoints at various locations throughout Pictou County.
The general public can expect to see members of the RCMP and the Pictou County Solid Waste Team conducting “Litter Checkpoints” during Environment Week on June 7. The goal is to educate the public on littering and to “Keep Pictou County Clean”.
Personnel will be handing out vehicle litter bags to the public.
The locations will be:
June 7th: Trenton Connector and Westville Road
