RCMP investigate indecent act

PICTOU – Police here are investigating after a report of an indecent act.

At approximately 6:20 a.m. on June 20, Pictou District RCMP responded to a complaint of an indecent act which had taken place on the Jitney Trail.

Police immediately attended the location and were advised by the female complainant that she had been walking her dog on the trail and encountered a man.  He exposed his genitals to her and asked her if she wanted to go on a date.  The complainant advised that the man appeared to be intoxicated and was described as being a white male, approximately 30-35 years old, approximately 5’8” to 5’10’ in height, with a medium build.  He was wearing a light coloured shirt, shorts, had short brush cut style hair and was carrying a skateboard. 

The man has not been located and the RCMP is continuing its investigation.  Anyone who has information or may have witnessed this incident to call at 902 893 6820 or 1-800-803-RCMP (7267).
