HALIFAX – A new line of sparking beverages will be on Sobeys store shelves this summer.
Hanspeter Stutz, the owner of Domaine de Grand Pre winery, has partnered with local food guru Ted Grant to create VIVEAU, a brand-new line of sparkling beverage products in stores across Atlantic Canada early July. VIVEAU comes in three varieties, including Crisp Apple Cider, Wild Blueberry and Ripe Cherry. The water is gently extracted from Spa Springs Mineral Water near Middleton, Annapolis Valley and is blended with locally grown fresh fruit varieties.
“We created VIVEAU for people who are looking for a healthy, pure and refreshing beverage that doesn’t sacrifice taste. The flavour comes from fresh pressed fruit, never from concentrate and is complemented by an unparalleled high mineral content water source in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia,” said Ted Grant, president and co-founder of Fundy Drinks Ltd.
The natural water source is what makes the product unique. VIVEAU water comes from a mineral spring that flows over layers of rocks, formed over 1 billion years. As a result, VIVEAU has achieved an incomparable level of mineralization and purity. “The sparkling water is sourced according to the highest international food standards. When people drink VIVEAU, they are fueling themselves with minerals like calcium phosphate, bicarbonate and magnesium. These minerals can contribute to good health,” states Grant.
VIVEAU as a product provides 100 per cent transparency to consumers. There are no added sugars, preservatives or artificial flavours. It is the first of its kind to be launched in the Canadian market and offers a healthy, yet delicious alternative to sugared and high-calorie drinks.
“We crafted these products with our community top of mind. They are refreshing, natural and embody what it means to live a healthy and vibrant lifestyle. We are all looking to live our best life and to reach our full potential, and this means being conscious of what we put into our bodies. This is why VIVEAU was created and we pride ourselves on the transparency of our products ingredients. We also think, Canadians are ready for a healthier drink option,” says Grant.
VIVEAU beverages will be launched first in Sobeys and restaurants across Atlantic Canada early July. For more information, visit drinkviveau.com or follow them on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
