TRENTON – New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating after a two-vehicle collision here Wednesday.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 3, New Glasgow Regional Police, Trenton Fire Department and Emergency Health Services responded to the collision at the intersection of North Main Street and Park Road.
The collision involved a lone Pictou County male driving a Chevrolet Cobalt, who was travelling northbound on North Main Street, and a second vehicle, a Honda Civic, driven by a local woman with a six-year old passenger.
The Civic was travelling southbound making a left turn onto the Trenton Connector.
Neither driver was injured.
The driver of the Honda was charged with:
- Failing to yield to vehicle already in the intersection when making a left turn under the Motor Vehicle Act.
Both vehicles suffered substantial damage and both had to be towed from the scene.
New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
