No stranger to the deCoste Performing Arts Stage, Halifax native Shannon Quinn will return this summer on July 11.

Quinn has often been a side kick performing with other artists, including her father Tony Quinn, Bill and/or Joel Plaskett as well as touring internationally for three years with the Paul McKenna Band, an award-winning Scottish group.

She has been nominated twice for Canadian Folk Awards and has won the Roots Traditional Album and New Recording of the Year, both in 2016. Her talent as a fiddler/vocalist for the past 16 years has seen her take her passion for music to the next level. Having received her music degree from the Humber College in Toronto, Quinn has been featured in numerous international performances with Cirque Du Soleil, the Chieftains, Walt Disney World’s Epcot United Kingdom Pavilion and many more.

More recently, Quinn has released her third album titled, Watchmaker, back in January which has been boasted as a ‘modern Celtic concept’ album, based on the painting “The Watchmaker of Switzerland” by Norman Rockwell. She will be accompanied by special guest Alan Murray who originates from Scotland as she entertains the audience with her musical talents.
