It is with sadness the family of Jean–Claude LeBlanc, age 55 of Lucasville, NS, announce his passing on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 at the QEII VG Site. Jean–Claude had the world’s biggest heart, and an even bigger smile. He will forever be remembered, and always missed. Born in Moncton, NB, he was a son of Rene and Loretta (Bastarache) LeBlanc. Jean–Claude played with the Sackville Masters from 2001–2015 and Besa FC from 2015–2018; he also played with the Gamecocks Hockey Team. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Vessey) LeBlanc of 27 years (together 37); daughter Chanda LeBlanc; brothers Michel (Lisa), and Serge; sisters Gisele (John) Williston, Monique (Raymond) Richard, and Leonie (Paul Bourque) LeBlanc; grandchildren Aiden and Lucas Cameron; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Marcel in 1981. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean–Claude’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
