Pictou District RCMP arrested a 23-year-old man from Pictou County for impaired driving following a collision near Fraser’s Mountain.
On October 28 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Pictou District RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Little Harbour Road, near Fraser’s Mountain. Police arrived on scene to find a vehicle upside down in the ditch and a man walking away from the vehicle.
Police located the driver and after observing some signs of impairment by alcohol, arrested him. He was taken to Stellarton Detachment for a breath test and as a result is facing charges of impaired operation of a conveyance, and operating a conveyance with a blood alcohol concentration over 80mg%.
He is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on December 23.
