Nova Scotia farmers to gather for the 124th year

TRURO – Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture will be hosting their 124th annual general meeting at the Best Western Glengarry on Thursday November 28th and Friday November 29th, 2019.

This two-day event will see farmers from across the province gather to discuss key topics in Nova Scotia agriculture, such as agriculture land, soil health, transportation and more.

Lesley Kelly, the farmer behind the blog High Heels and Canola Fields will be delivering the keynote presentation – The Seven Leadership Lessons for Creating Positive Change. Other presenters include Canadian Federation of Agriculture, second vice president, Chris van den Heuvel, Minister of Agriculture Keith Colwell, PC Party Leader Tim Houston, and NDP Agriculture Critic Lisa Roberts.
