PICTOU — The season of wonderful music and fellowship is here and Ann Holton and Friends are ready for it.

They will present ‘A Merry Little Christmas Show’ at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Pictou on Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 7 p.m.

Holton is a talented vocalist who released her first Christmas CD last year. The recording, ‘A Merry Little Christmas’, featured familiar favourites and some unique songs of the season. This performance will showcase songs from the recording plus other well-known classics.

The artist will be joined by several musical friends including John Spyder Macdonald, David Pos, Pam LeBlanc, Ray Stewart, Bruce Holton and the young trio of Katey Aucoin, Jud Gunning and Pierre Aucoin. Also joining in the concert will be Emery Vandeweill from Antigonish.

The concert will feature a special set called Remembering Fleur. Holton shared the stage many times with Fleur Mainville and will share some tunes from ‘Fleurries’, which was Mainville’s Christmas CD.

Part of the proceeds of the evening will go towards the St. Andrew’s Church Fund. Tickets are $20 for adults/$10 for students. Admission is at the door.
