Free tool connects Pictou Campus students to local housing

SSTELLARTON – Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) has partnered with to connect learners and landlords in campus communities across the province.

Using the free service, students searching for long- and short-term housing options can connect with local companies and community members offering various accommodation options — such as apartments, sublets or single rooms. Those wishing to post a rental opportunity they have available can do so for free at or by phoning 1-866-766-0767.

The housing connector will be of particular use to the college’s growing population of international students. It will also assist those learners drawn to the NSCC’s 16 campuses and learning centres for specialized training options in the culinary, trades, IT fields (for example).

As of September 30, a total of 10,843 students were enrolled in diploma, advanced diploma and certificate programs at NSCC campuses across the province, which includes 633 at Pictou Campus.

Over the course of the academic year, the college welcomes approximately 20,000 students through its full suite of short- and long-term training options.
