Two women arrested for impaired driving

Pictou County District RCMP have arrested a 45 year old woman and a 46 year old woman for impaired driving during the weekend.

On May 29th at approximately 8:45 p.m.,  Pictou District RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Durham. 

Police located the vehicle in Pictou and investigation at the scene resulted in the 46 year old female driver from Pictou being arrested for impaired driving.  She faces charges of impaired operation of a conveyance and operating a conveyance with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%.

On May 31st at approximately 10:55a.m., RCMP responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 106 near Pictou.  The vehicle was located in Pictou and investigation at the scene resulted in the 45 year old female driver from Braeshore being arrested for impaired driving. She faces charges of impaired operation of a cnveyance and operating a conveyance with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%.

Both women will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on September 14th.
