Clyde Fraser is looking to be re-elected as a town councillor for New Glasgow.
He plays an active role in the community and aims to help the town flourish. The current councillor’s vision for New Glasgow is inclusive and progressive.
Fraser describes himself as a “proud North-ender looking to bring more positive change to the community.”
Fraser has a broad scope of municipal experience and is a veteran town councillor with a strong understanding of both the community and municipal government.
A retired school administrator, he has been an active volunteer in the community with organizations such as the Shepherd’s Lunch Room, Municipal Alcohol Project, Mentoring Plus project, New Glasgow Kinsmen (life member), Tearmann House Society, Pictou County Rugby Club, the Heather Figure Skating Club, the Pictou County Minor Hockey Association, coaching minor sports teams, and was the Northern Region rep on the former N.S. Commission on Alcohol and Drug Dependency.
He believes in helping to build a community where everyone feels safe and accepted.
