Police investigating property damage

An incidence of property damage is being investigated in New Glasgow.

On October 17th, at approximately 3:15 p.m., an unknown vehicle had backed into garage and green bin at a residence on the corner of Granville Street and Frederick Street, causing extensive damage both pieces property. The suspect vehicle immediately fled the area.

Investigators determined that the damage was caused by a large truck or cube van.

The damage occurred sometime between 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

New Glasgow Regional Police is asking anyone who has any information or person(s) responsible for the property damage is asked to contact New Glasgow Regional Police at 902-752-1941. Should callers wish to remain anonymous, they can also call Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to CRIMES (274637) or by secure online tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Police are also asking if anyone witnessed any large trucks or cube vans in the area at the time of the incident to call police or crime stoppers.
