The Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) is announcing several changes to the updated 2020-21 regular season schedule ahead of games resuming in Nova Scotia this weekend due to COVID-19 regulations in P.E.I. and to keep teams playing.

A press release from the league informs the following games have been postponed until a later date:

  • January 30th – Valley at Summerside
  • January 31st – Amherst at Pictou County

An announcement will be made when these games are rescheduled. Opponents in two games at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro have been changed:

  • January 29th – Summerside at Truro moved to January 30th
  • January 30th – Yarmouth at Truro moved to January 29th

There will now be two games this Sunday, with games scheduled for later in the season moved up:

  • February 7th – Valley at Pictou County moved to January 31st
  • March 3rd – Summerside at Amherst moved to January 31st

The MHL thanks its fans and sponsors for their continued patience as the league navigates through the COVID-19 pandemic. While there will be no fans in the stands in the short term, games can be viewed on HockeyTV.
