Police looking for missing person

UPDATE: Missing person has been found deceased.

Pictou District RCMP is looking for help from the public in locating a missing person.

Kevin Gerard MacDonald, 57, was last seen on Sunday, March 28, at approximately 2 p.m. in Lower Barneys River.

MacDonald is described as being Caucasian, 5-foot-5, approximately 95.25 kg (210 pounds), with short grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark sweater and jeans.

According to a press release received from the RCMP, it is believed that MacDonald is driving a grey 2006 Subaru Forrester with Nova Scotia license plate FPG599.

“When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully,” says the press release.
