SINCLAIR, Beatrice Jessie Amelia (Shea)


SINCLAIR, Beatrice Jessie Amelia (Shea) – Age 83 of Borneo, Guysborough County passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, April 3, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Charles Perley and Margaret Jessie (Munro) Shea. Collecting quilt books and making quilts were her passion, along with knitting, crossword puzzles and Sunday afternoon NASCAR races. Beatrice is survived by her children, William “Bill” (Coreen) Pellerine, Pictou; Anita (Manton) Battist, Sunridge; Donna Connors, Pictou; Ann (Allan) Mason, Borneo; Chris (Shelley) Simpson, Onslow Mountain; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as Patches and Lady, her loving cat companions. She will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her only sister, Rose Ella (Shea) Sinclair. A special thank you is extended to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital for the loving care they provided. A private family celebration and burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Cross Roads Country Harbour will take place at a later date.
