This group of people gathered at Stellarton Town Square earlier this afternoon to take part in a vigil highlighting the reality of poverty in Nova Scotia and the need for a basic guaranteed livable income.
Another group gathered at the office of Central Nova MP Sean Fraser in New Glasgow.
The vigils, which took place across the country, were co-ordinated on behalf of the United Church of Canada.
